Teachers’ Day is a time to Reminisce with your kids
Teachers’ Day means all Australian teachers have a special holiday. Families are pre-occupied with what to do with their children for this day – especially if parents are working! However, the importance of a great teacher in children’s lives cannot be measured, but it is expressed in a little video . Do you remember a teacher who made school a positive experience for you?

Lets acknowledge their impact on kids’ academic career
We can all remember the awful schoolteachers, and the resilient people use it as a source of entertainment to reminisce. However, an inept, lazy, resentful teacher or a personality clash can set your child back years; even cause rebellious behaviour or identities in children.
This can lead to HUGE PARENTING ISSUES – which can be assisted by marriage counselling. Ph 0417 997 016 if you are already having problems with your child.
Every year the NeiTA Foundation (National Excellence in Teaching Awards) and ASG (Australian Scholarships Group) announce the national teaching recipients of the ASG Community Merit Awards on this day. So if you missed nominating this year, set it as a goal for 2020.
In 2019, World Teachers’ Day will celebrate teachers with the UNESCO theme, “Young Teachers: The future of the Profession.” The day provides the occasion to celebrate the teaching profession worldwide, to take stock of achievements, and to address some of the issues central for attracting and keeping the brightest minds and young talents in the profession.
World Teachers’ Day in Australia is October 25, 2019
It’s celebrated on the last Friday in October and it doesn’t coincide with actual World celebration Day.
International holiday of World Teacher’s Day was established by UNESCO on October 5, 1994 and since then it’s annually celebrated on this day in many countries around the world. However, many countries also have their National Teachers’ Days or move World Day to another day, as it was made in Australia. The thing is that Australian schools go on a holiday at this time in October, that’s why the holiday is celebrated on the last Friday in October.
