First Retreat in a home environment
First Retreat – ours was very friendly & affordable.
In our venue there are 4 spare PRIVATE BEDROOMS, plus other shared spaces.
We gathered together a few wellness leaders to run a co-created Relaxation Healthy Retreat in December 2016.
We agreed to try yoga, making creams and rollers with essential oils that we chose after trying and learning about their benefits.
Lots and lots of time to chat & share ideas, recipes, Apps for relaxation, meditation, stress management 🙂
Participants wanted more time to just chat & share.
We did a simple Meditation, then went on a bush walk in the National Park next door to look over the coastal plains past the city to the west, and as far as the eye could see north and south.

First Retreat Feedback
“I got something from every activity on this retreat. Yoga with Sue was brilliant. Just the right speed and level for the weekend of relaxation.
Essential Oils – fantastic, something I think has added to my self-care arsenal. Support network activity made me feel grateful and lucky.
Flow of the weekend – This was a different kind of retreat because we all know each other, so I loved the chats, interludes of tea breaks and taking things at a relaxed pace really worked for me
Overall message. I love the homely feeling of the weekend & the feeling of being with friends.”
“What a wonderful idea. I’m sure that there will be many more retreats to come.
All of the participants were lovely. For me personally, I need some quiet times in the day, but I enjoyed both days. I also really enjoyed time to chat with everyone.
The food was amazing.
Keep doing what you are doing Francess. It makes a big difference to people”
“I enjoyed the weekend retreat and the yoga lessons. The introduction to the use of essential oils by the ladies who did the demonstration could not be faulted, and I was pleasantly surprised with the lovely smoothie for breakfast. We went for a walk in the hills on one rainy, misty afternoon. My photography benefitted from the rain enhancing the colours of the beautiful, rustic bush. It was lovely to leave the city behind and just to do nothing and enjoy my own company and sharing of my thoughts with new and interesting people. Thank you for the joyful weekend.”
